Voluntary Device Protection (VDP) is now available for the 2025–2026 school year! Price is only $25.00 This optional plan helps protect your student’s school-issued device from accidental damage.🛡️ What’s included?
- The first incident of damage is free
- Each additional incident is just $25
- Coverage continues through to the next school year (must be purchased new every year)
💡 Why consider VDP?
Without the plan, families are responsible for the full cost of repairs:
• Basic Repair (camera, plastics): $30 per incident
• Complex Repair (keyboard, screen, motherboard): $150 per incident
• Device Replacement: $400
🛍️ How to Purchase:
VDP can be purchased directly through PowerSchool under the student’s fees section.
🗓️ Deadline: September 30, 2025
After this date, students must have their device inspected before the plan can be added.
🔍 Please note: VDP does not cover intentional damage (e.g., missing keys, carvings, drawings, or excessive stickers). Chargers are not included in coverage.
